If I had to summarize my experience with self-credit Builder it would be a natural disaster on a worldwide scale! They have no way for you to communicate with them they will ask you for documents but then provide you no way to send those documents to them and if you pay your account off they will close your account and take your money or make it so hard for you to get your money back that you just give up. This is a scam plain and simple they have Casey will eventually shut these people down and they will have a class action lawsuit I can't wait to join it.

So this has been an ongoing thing. I paid to get y'all's credit card $100 plus I paid over $500 for the credit builder account.

I've yet to receive my credit card, and they refused to pay out the money I paid into my credit builder account because I cannot get a bank statement. Y'all emailed me again today saying my documents were not good enough, but the thing is I just switched banks recently and have no access to that account whatsoever. Per the email y'all sent me, if I do not have a bank statement, a picture of a debit card or other PDFs showing my account number and name and address will do, and that's what I sent y'all. I sent y'all many, many things, but that email I got said I had to have a bank statement.

Y'all clearly state in your policy that bank statements are not needed if you can't get them. I don't understand why y'all are doing this to me. Is it just to try to keep my money? I'll send you all everything y'all needed: copies of my debit card and everything.

It's physically impossible for me to get a copy of my bank statement because the account is closed. I even called the bank and asked them, and they said there is no possible way I could get one. I sent y'all letters from Social Security showing my name, address, social security number, and the last four digits of my bank account that y'all have.

I sent y'all stuff like my debit card receipts showing my account number and my identity, everything you can think of, because your policy says I don't need a bank statement, but you are telling me I have to have one in the email I got today. How can we resolve this without taking legal action?

Its still the same but receive a letter today from fnbo bank where I run a application for circle k card reason for me being denied which is embarrassing said your credit score is NOT available from experian which self credit builder states that experian is one of the credit score providers why is that self lying or what?

Cannot get ahold of anyone at self just a stupid auto agent self is a great place but if youre 30 seconds late on payment a 15 dollar charge is added so use them at own risk

Hi, my name is Dimitra Zara, and I had a Self account that's now closed. I paid it in full, and I've since opened a new one.

I'm calling to request a goodwill adjustment for a late payment from the old account. At the time, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and managing my child's mental health, which caused financial difficulties. Since then, I've gotten back on track, and I'd truly appreciate it if Self could remove the late payment as a one-time courtesy to help my credit, but I wouldn't want to delete my history. Also, can you tell me how I can check my credit score through Self using just my ITIN?

And could I get a copy of my old account's payment history? Thank you.

"if Self could remove the late payment as a one-time courtesy to help my credit," That would be illegal if they did. Your credit history is what you make it. They can't report inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies.

Too many Fees for one late payment

I am in need of someone from your Customer Service department to contact me immediately. If this does not happen, my attorney will be contacting you.

I have been locked out of my account since July. I received an email from you all regarding fraudulent activities. I verified that it was my transaction, so I don't understand why my card is still locked. Since July, I have been told to contact customer service.

Your automated system is not functioning correctly, as it automatically directs me to the fraud department. They are telling me that they cannot find my case number nor is my phone number associated with anything. So, I need you to fix this problem and give me back access to my account. I will be seeking further legal counsel because it does not make any sense that I cannot access my account while you are still taking my monthly payments.

Your fraud department is of no help and the supervisor was blaming me, as if I didn't respond to the email in a timely manner. I did respond to the email, but regardless of the fact, whether I responded then or now, it is still my account and I should not have to go through this to gain access to my money.

I should've just withdrawn my money from the account and not turned it into a Visa card if I was going to go through all of this. I have contacted your legal department, I've contacted the Better Business Bureau and now I'm waiting for you to call me back.
